About Me

Jacksonville, Illinois, United States
My husband and I have been married for 51 years. We are both retired. He loves to garden and read. I like to do those things too but still need to do something interesting and keep my brain active. I have been selling online since 2002. I really like selling over the internet and reading and writing on the blogs as you can talk to many nice people. I also sell in order to supplement our income as day-to-day living expenses. I have a grown daughter who owns a painting business, Painters Extraordinaire II, in Chicago, IL. I also have two dogs(Lady and Corky) and a cat named Bonnie.

Missing Clyde...

No matter how much you feel like you did the right thing helping your furbaby go on to cat heaven the loss hurts just as much as it did the day he was put to sleep.  I miss him at the weirdest times like right before I go to sleep at night.  I don't really miss what he had become in the last year or so as the hyperthyroidism and cancer ravaged his body but missed the fat and sassy boy that he used to be.

I look at pictures of him a year or more ago and see an entirely different cat than the way he was when he died.  He was a total nut and would sometimes get up in the morning and run like a demon all around the house.  I loved the way he would come up in my arms and tilt his head so I would kiss the top of it.   He was a total lovebug.  I also miss the sweet innocent looks he gave me from his beautiful green eyes even when he knew he was in trouble.

I know that I will hurt for a long time as I still feel the loss of all my furbabies throughout the years.  I only hope the ones we still have live long, long lives as they will be our last ones.

Thanks for reading my blog.  If you need any special gifts for Christmas please check out my stores as I try to add more things on a daily basis.

Take care.
