One more day until Christmas and I have the flu!!

Just one more day until Christmas!! Well, Christmas is almost here and my husband and I are fighting a bout of the flu and may be losing. Al has had it for a couple of days longer than I have so he may just about through but I still have to go through whatever steps are left. My house really needs a cleaning and hopefully I will fell like doing it soon. Of course it's just going to be me and my husband this Christmas as my daughter is not going to be able to make it. She has her own painting business and needs to be available to do her job and has jobs scheduled except for Christmas day. She lives too far away to drive here for only the day. Besides the weather is really crappy. Sleeting right now.

Hope all of you visitors to my site are having a great Christmas week. I beg you try not to get the flu as it really takes a long time to get through it. Anyway, Merry Christmas to you all and I hope you have a wonderful 2009.

I Can't Believe.....

It is going to be Christmas again in a month. My gosh where has the time gone? I guess it's true that the time goes faster as you get older. I don't want it to get too fast of course. It is getting really cold here and I hate cold weather. Anyone know a warm place that's cheap for retirees? If you read this blog and know of one leave me a comment. Later!

Well another month has come and gone...

I can't believe it is April already. Time is spinning out of control. Hopefully the weather will get better before spring and summer are gone.

2008 - January almost gone ....

Wow, it is already 2008 and January has almost gone. It's true what they say, the older you get the faster the time goes. Hopefully it won't keep going any faster or it will be Christmas again before I know it.
