About Me

My photo
Jacksonville, Illinois, United States
My husband and I have been married for 51 years. We are both retired. He loves to garden and read. I like to do those things too but still need to do something interesting and keep my brain active. I have been selling online since 2002. I really like selling over the internet and reading and writing on the blogs as you can talk to many nice people. I also sell in order to supplement our income as day-to-day living expenses. I have a grown daughter who owns a painting business, Painters Extraordinaire II, in Chicago, IL. I also have two dogs(Lady and Corky) and a cat named Bonnie.

Well, Christmas has come and gone.....

I can't believe it has been almost a month since Christmas.  Man the time flies whether you are having fun or not.  Our Christmas was good even though we really didn't do anything.  Our daughter wasn't able to get down so it was just my hubby and I and our 2 cats and 2 dogs so it was all good.

I have opened another store for my tea and coffee pots and pitchers as I have too many and am trying to downsize my collection.  Be sure and check out http://prairiewindpottery.storenvy.com/ if you're looking to upsize yours.

It's really gloomy in Central Illinois today.  Weather is extremely cold, windy and ucky so won't be taking the dogs for a walk today.  We took them the last couple of days as it has been in the low 50s.  Really nice for this time of year.  Of course, it's not supposed to make it to 30 today.  Typical Illinois weather up one minute - down the next.

I did want to give an update on our cat, Clyde.  Still no weight  gain even though we have been giving him the medicine for hyperthyroid.  At least he's no skinnier either but wish he would gain a little.  He eats enough to weight 50 lbs.  Any way he seems to be doing ok and feels good so I guess that's the important thing.

Not a lot to talk about this time of year as we usually don't do much so will close out this post for now.   Thanks for all the people who read this blog.  I appreciate it.

Below are pictures of some of my tea pots I am listing.

You should be down here in Texas. It goes from the 30s to the 80s almost any day. It is enough to give you the flu.

Coffee pots look cool. Hope you sell them all.
