About Me

My photo
Jacksonville, Illinois, United States
My husband and I have been married for 51 years. We are both retired. He loves to garden and read. I like to do those things too but still need to do something interesting and keep my brain active. I have been selling online since 2002. I really like selling over the internet and reading and writing on the blogs as you can talk to many nice people. I also sell in order to supplement our income as day-to-day living expenses. I have a grown daughter who owns a painting business, Painters Extraordinaire II, in Chicago, IL. I also have two dogs(Lady and Corky) and a cat named Bonnie.

Different Day - Same Problems

Well, I know I haven't posted for a while but things haven't changed in anything I am writing about.

Clyde is still skinny and we don't know why and we still haven't had more than a thimble full of rain.

Clyde is still taking the medicine but as far as I can tell it hasn't helped him a whit.  The vet said to keep giving it to him as he hasn't gotten any skinner (how could he- he's a stick now).

Still am not getting many sells in my stores.  I used to have multiple sales many times a month but the times they are tough.  Now retailers want the government to make us charge sales tax which will even make it worse.  Google has made it tough enough we don't need anyone else taking money from us.  By the way can anyone tell me what this is:

I have been told it is a candle holder but I'm not really sure.  If you have an idea feel free to leave me an answer in the comments section.

I very seldom feel quite so blue but today I do.  This summer has been so long, dry and hot that I can't wait for fall (and that is quite weird for me as I love summer).  Hopefully when it gets to be fall the extreme heat will go bye bye.    We have already lost a couple of our beautiful Hydranga plants and our Holly bush is looking bad now too.   We really need about 7 - 10 inches of rain (not all at once please God).  The farmers corn is bad too all over which will mean higher prices for all the good food we enjoy.

It seems like every day now almost I hear about someone else who has cancer and the doctors can't do anything for them.   My 56 year old niece died in June with cancer she didn't even know she had.  Time the doctors got to it she was way past helping.  Please make sure you go to the doctor if you have any problems as I don't want to hear about you dying too.  I am trying to practice what I preach even though I hate going to doctors.  I got away with not having much wrong until 2 years ago.  I have had more done in the past 2 years then I have in my whole 69 years.

Well, enough of that downer stuff.  I will try to be more upbeat in my next blog.

If you can check out my stores and buy a thing or two I would sure appreciate it.  If not, than thanks for reading my blog anyway.

Until next time, God bless!
