My husband and I have been married for 51 years. We are both retired. He loves to garden and read. I like to do those things too but still need to do something interesting and keep my brain active. I have been selling online since 2002. I really like selling over the internet and reading and writing on the blogs as you can talk to many nice people. I also sell in order to supplement our income as day-to-day living expenses. I have a grown daughter who owns a painting business, Painters Extraordinaire II, in Chicago, IL. I also have two dogs(Lady and Corky) and a cat named Bonnie.

Finally a teaspoon of rain....

I don't know about the area where you live but here in central Illinois we are having a rain problem.  The clouds come up and it looks really promising and then "nothing."  Maybe a few drops.  Today is no exception.  The storm clouds came in, there was thunder and of course just enough rain to wet the sidewalk or mess up the car.  The problem is the Illinois river.  The storm clouds come in but fizzle out when they reach the river.  Bummer!!!

Anyway I had surgery on my left foot due to a very painful bunion that had messed up my toes really bad.  This surgery is quite painful so if you need it go ahead but if you aren't that bad think about it for a while.  I probably waited to long before getting mine done but you know us old farm girls can take quite a bit of pain before we get anything done.  I went 67 years without any surgery of any kind and in the past three years have had two surgeries and a procedure to remove blood clots.    Hopefully this will be my last surgery but as we get older things happen.  Anyway I can always hope.
