About Me

Jacksonville, Illinois, United States
My husband and I have been married for 51 years. We are both retired. He loves to garden and read. I like to do those things too but still need to do something interesting and keep my brain active. I have been selling online since 2002. I really like selling over the internet and reading and writing on the blogs as you can talk to many nice people. I also sell in order to supplement our income as day-to-day living expenses. I have a grown daughter who owns a painting business, Painters Extraordinaire II, in Chicago, IL. I also have two dogs(Lady and Corky) and a cat named Bonnie.

Christmastime is upon us.......

My Gosh - It's almost Christmas again.  Where did the year go?  It just goes faster and faster and faster.  My daughter may get down this year to spend it with us.  I hope so as we haven't seen her for over a year.  She is quite the busy girl and is getting more painting jobs so she has something going all the time so her dad and I understand.

Also we finally had a small amount of snow yesterday.  It stayed on the grass for a while but has already melted.  I wouldn't mind having having the same amount or a little more for the Christmas holidays.  No big thing though either way.

Our dog lady hasn't been feeling the greatest for a couple of days.  It might just be an upset stomach but if she doesn't get better by tomorrow will take her to the vet.  We had planned on taking her yesterday but she seemed to snap out of it.  Now today she seems under the weather again.    Hopefully she will snap out of it when we take her and Corky for their walk later today.  We only take them up and down the block since it has gotten cold but they seem to be fine with just getting out to smell new smells.  It seems like the first thing they do is poop.  Hopefully the wind won't be blowing like it is now.  Anyway will keep you informed.

Clyde is still skinny as he was even though he's taking the medicine for his thyroid.  At least he hasn't gotten any worse.  I hope he gains a little weight though.  He's so big he looks almost skeleton.  I always used to get upset when I so skinny animals and thought they weren't getting fed enough but Clyde eats like a horse and is still super skinny.  I guess I will have to stop making snap judgments.

Having been making steady sales the last few months so if you guys have purchased from my stores I want to thank you.   I love having sales not only for the extra money but just enjoy shipping things to happy customers.  At least most of them are happy.  Every once in a while you get someone who doesn't read the description and then don't like what they get.  Doesn't happen too often though.

Thanks so much for reading my little blog.  Hope all of you are happy and well and that your holidays are fun, festive and safe.

Keep buying everyone in case you don't get what you want from Santa.  I can get it to you by Christmas if you purchase it today or tomorrow but after than it will have to come late.

Bye all - Until next time.
